LiveSoftware
ADEC & CoS
Software for ADEC, a development consultancy in Kenya: the public website with an Ask ADEC assistant, and CoS, an AI chief of staff that finds, reads, researches and drafts for the team.

The problem
The team's day went into finding documents, chasing what needed attention and drafting the same things again. An assistant that only answers questions takes none of that work off anyone.
A decision I made
The model drives the work: it chooses which tool to use next and when the job is done, instead of following a fixed script. Each tool sees only what the signed-in person can already see.
What I built
- CoS, an agent that searches the company's knowledge base, each person's mail and files, and the web, with cited answers from the web.
- Drafts of emails, proposals, briefs and research in a side panel, opened in Word.
- A desk built from each person's own mail, calendar and documents, with grouped reviews of what needs attention.
- Memory designed in three layers: shared organization knowledge, per-user memory, and a queue that promotes what should be shared.
- The public website on React, TypeScript and Supabase, with Ask ADEC, an assistant that answers only from reviewed facts.
How it works
- A request
- CoS picks the next tool (Next.js)
- Company knowledge, mail, files, calendar, web
- Supabase memory (shared · per user · promotion queue)
- Desk, reviews and Word drafts

What's next
Sending mail and saving files, so a draft can finish as a sent email or a saved document.
